Thank you so much to all our wonderful wedding guests! The day was amazing, and it was all down to you. Joey and I still have a couple of days left of our honeymoon, and after that it's back to reality - and you will all be getting thank you letters, of course, but we literally went from the hotel to the airport so I haven't had a time to do any of that yet.

How is Spent holding up without us? I'm not looking forward to coming back, I won't lie. Not only do I have to go through all the hassle of changing the name on my bank cards, passport, driving license etc (which I suppose is quite exciting in a way, actually), but I'm guessing whoever has been covering reception will have left me with a whole pile of work to sort through when I get back. Which is fine, I suppose. It'll get me back into the swing of things. Ugh.

Wow. Someone really, really wanted to speak to Richard just now. I've actually never heard someone get so panicked when I asked if I could put them on hold. I thought they were going to explode out the other end of the phone and put a knife to my throat or something, seriously. Apparently putting someone on hold is a mortal sin nowadays.

The joys of being a receptionist. You're all jealous, I know it.

I won't lie, Spent, I'm sort of horrified at the prices florists get away with charging nowadays. Seriously. For a load of flowers that will die within 24 hours of being delivered? It's ridiculous. I'm really grateful that Joey has money.

Anyway, the wedding is approaching far too quickly and it's making me nervous. I still have a lot of stuff to organize, even if I've managed to check a lot of stuff of The List. The List is my 50-page-long computer notepad file which is backed up onto a CD, memory stick, three computers and, just in case, floppy disk. It's basically my entire organization for this wedding, with months and months of notes and prices added in there. It's like my bible at the moment.

Okay. I'm going to stop boring you with wedding stuff now. I bet you all can't wait til June is over, huh?

Awesome party on Friday Lena, thank you! I had a blast. And I didn't even wake up with a hangover, which is obviously a huge bonus.

And okay, I just got back from doing my grocery shopping (I like to go late to avoid the queues) and as I was turning the corner down one of the aisles there was this big fat guy in the way. So I stopped because I couldn't get through and waited, and then he walked towards me, put his hand on my stomach and physically pushed me out of the way. It wasn't hard or anything, but even so, I was very 'what the hell?' Surely that's a major invasion of your personal space bubble? I don't know, maybe I'm overreacting, but it really annoyed me.

That's all I have for now, folks! Happy almost-Wednesday.

Wow, let me tell you all something, organizing a wedding is hard work. I've had to deal with so many snooty caterers and arrogant dress makers this week alone that it's starting to give me a headache. I think I'll take a break for a few days - though every time I try and do that I get all excited again and can't help but pick up my bridal magazines.

So you might want to block my blog or something if you don't want to read a whole lot about weddings over the next few months, because I can assure you that's all I'll be writing about. I've had a few ideas for the save-the-dates that I need to discuss with Joey, but once we've got those sorted then we'll send those out, so watch your desks! Well, my friend's desks. We're not inviting the entire office. And if I get my way, they will be in the form of a magnet. Awesome idea, no?

I'm so happy. My cheeks hurt from grinning so much over the past five days. dsfskjdfh I'M ENGAGED! I can't stop listening to Christmas music. Even though I know it's December 29th and Christmas was four days ago, Bing Crosby hasn't left my current iTunes playlist.

Speaking of iTunes, my laptop has been playing up recently and I called helpline, who told me that the reason it keeps overheating is probably because iTunes is a Mac product and doesn't sit well with Windows systems. I'm technologically dumb and even I know that it's obviously nothing to do with that.

I also can't believe we're back to work today. The week has really flown by, but in a nice way. It's definitely been a pretty amazing Christmas.

I'm updating from Howell hospital where my niece is currently taking her sweet, sweet time making her way into the world. So far it's been almost 18 hours, and they still don't think she's going to appear any time soon. Hence me finding the hospital cyber cafe and updating my work journal. I'm so bored. Excited! But bored. And my mom is driving me all sorts of mad with her panicking and insisting on going into the labor room. Once the fifteenth hour struck she started going a bit crazy.

Anyway, I won't be coming into work tomorrow for obvious reasons (and because Mason is an amazing boss), so I'll see you all Monday with a plethora of baby photos. I'm so jealous of her. And I feel like a bitch.
